Purpose

They were originally designed for use on bodies painted with golden flower UG series underglaze and OS series underglaze: As long as they are fired in the correct way, ceramic vessels can avoid moisture or discoloration caused by contact with food or liquids. The high-temperature transparent glaze is light purple. The main function of color is to facilitate users to easily distinguish between the areas on the green body that have been marked with a transparent axis and those that have not: the color will disappear with high-temperature firing.
Usage
When using high-temperature transparent glazing, three complete coatings are required to achieve the best effect. Pay attention to applying in a "cross" grid pattern (horizontal, vertical, horizontal). Make sure the previous layer of transparent glaze is dry before applying the next layer. When applying transparent glaze, it is best to use a soft brush to reduce brush marks. In addition to the brushing glaze method, the sponge patting glaze application method can also be used. If the transparent brushing glaze is applied by the spraying method, an appropriate amount of water can be added to adjust it to the consistency suitable for the spraying method. When using high-temperature transparent immersion glaze, an appropriate amount of water can be added to adjust the consistency and fluidity of the transparent glaze. The amount of clear water to be added depends on the consistency of the glaze at that time, the expected finishing effect and the firing temperature. When immersing the glaze, first thoroughly stir the transparent shaft evenly and add an appropriate amount of water according to the actual situation at that time to increase the fluidity of the glaze. After stirring the transparent glaze evenly, use pliers to hold the target object and pour it into the glaze for application. Note that during use, stir it from time to time to ensure the uniformity and stability of the glaze.
High-temperature transparent glaze can also provide glaze powder. Add 1.14kg of water to 1kq of glaze powder. Adjust the glaze or water to a specific gravity of approximately 1.4. Thoroughly stir the glaze powder and water evenly, then pass through a 200-mesh sieve until it can be used directly. High-temperature transparent glazes, brush glazes, dip glazes, and transparent glazes made with glaze powder can all undergo overglaze painting, that is, applying other glazes on their surfaces. Meanwhile, all three can be glazed by spray glazing.
